EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...
..A large, long period north-northwest swell will quickly rise
throughout the morning today and peak during the day today well
above the advisory threshold.
* WHAT...Surf heights of 14 to 20 feet along north-facing shores,
10 to 15 feet along west-facing shores.
* WHERE...North and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu and
Molokai and the north facing shores of Maui.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
will make swimming dangerous.
Instructions: Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don't
go out.
